Academic Curriculum of DOEACC 'O' LEVEL
DOEACC ‘O’ Level Course is a foundation Course of DOEACC Society in the field of Information Technology. The duration of the course is 1 Year (2 semesters of 6 months each). The next level IT course of DOEACC Society is DOEACC ‘A’Level which is equivalent to advance diploma course in Computer Application.The course starts in the month of January and July every year. Admission notice is published in the local daily newspaper of Nagaland about 1 month prior to commencement.
The Objective of the course is to prepare candidates for DOEACC examination by imparting required knowledge and skill.Its give to the students an additional hand-on experience in solving a real life problem by applying knowledge and skills gained on completion of theory papers in a course at a given Level. It provides an opportunity to students to develop written and communication skills. Project also helps the students to realize the importance of resource and time management, ownership of task towards deliverables, innovation and efficiency in task management apart from presentation skills. It also provides a good opportunity for students to build, enhance and sustain high levels of professional conduct and performance and evolves a problem solver frame of mind in the students. It is also felt that taking up the project by a student prepares him for a job in industry and elsewhere.
Recognition has been given by the Government of India to DOEACC ‘O’ level examination conducted by the DOEACC Society as equivalent to Foundation Course in IT for the purpose of employment to the posts and services under Central Government.

Projects in the DOEACC Scheme are an integral part of the curriculum to qualify for a certificate. There is one project after the completion of 2nd semester.No marks are assigned for this, but Candidates are required to carry out the project successfully. The head of the Institute will submit a project completion certificate in the prescribed format for issuing pass certificate to DOEACC Society for the students who have cleared all the papers and complete the project work.
The theory examination for each module under the fifth revised syllabus would be for duration of three hours and the total marks for each subject would be 100.
Result of Examination:
Result of DOEACC ‘O’ Level examination is published in the DOEACC website http://www.doeacc.edu.in normally after 2 months of completion of the exam. Students can check their result from this website and download. Students can also ask for result of the examination to the Institute. Results will be sent to the candidates from DOEACC Society individually. The result will be provided in the form of Grade. The mark scored in practical paper is not counted for calculating overall grade of the exam but, clearing practical paper is the necessary criteria for awarding the certificate.

Re-totaling of marks can be requested within one month from the date of announcement of the result. The application along with requisite fee of Rs. 200/- per module/paper should send directly to Examination Section, DOEACC Society, 6CGO Complex, New Delhi-3. If any correction is to be made, it will be updated to student’s result of the examination.
